Staal Vinterbo, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the UCSD School of Medicine's Division of Biomedical Informatics. He is an expert in privacy technology and machine learning. He has been working for over 10 years in the development of new algorithms to preserve privacy and objectively measure the risk of privacy breaches in disclosed data sets.
