George Varghese, PhD, is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering in the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering. He is a widely recognized researcher in the field of network algorithms who holds the prestigious title of Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery. He uses his expertise in fast online algorithms to develop algorithms for pattern recognition in large multi-source data sets. He also contributes to the development of a networked source anonymization algorithm.
