Share/Access Data

iDASH is designed to promote the secure sharing and consuming of biomedical and behavioral resources with iDASH collaborators. Resources include software, data, and computing systems. To achieve this goal iDASH has implemented data sharing and protection policies that govern agreements between iDASH and resource contributors and resource consumers.

Procedure for Submitting Resources to iDASH
(Resource Contributors)

Resource contributors cosign a DUA with the UCSD Contracts and Grants authority. The DUA describes the terms by which the iDASH project keeps your data resource private and secure.

Procedure for Accessing Data from iDASH
(Resource Consumers)

Resource consumers cosign a DUA with the UCSD Contracts and Grants authority. The DUA describes the terms by which the iDASH project expects resource consumers to keep iDASH data resources private and secure.

Completed DUAs should be signed by the data contributor or the data consumer and submitted to the address below along with any applicable compliance documentation. Please submit signed DUAs via email, fax, or regular mail. Note: Processing time may be slower for DUAs submitted by postal mail. Upon receipt a UCSD Contracts and Grants authority will sign the DUA, forming a contract between the iDASH project and the data contributor and/or data consumer.

Once the DUA between iDASH and the data contributor is completed, instructions will be provided for loading data into the iDASH infrastructure.
